OPTION FOR GRADUATION / CONTINUATION OF STUDY FOR PURPOSE OF IMPROVING GRADES Option For Graduation/Continuation of Study For Purpose Of Improving Grades   The University Senate on 21.10.1999 has agreed that all students who have fulfilled the stipulated requirements for graduation be requested to confirm if they wish to : (a)           graduate and be awarded the relevant degree;   or   (b)           continue with their studies for the purpose of improving their grades. (Please refer to the University of Malay(First Degree Studies) Regulations 2006, which is available in the Student Portal, regarding RepeatingCourses To Improve Grades).   This option is on the condition that the student has not reached the maximum period of 10 semesters or 12 semesters stipulated for their respective programme of study.   Students who are involved are those who are admitted in the admission years stated below :   Programme of Study Maximum Period Year of Admission   Three (3) -Year Study Programme 10 semester 2006/2007 2007/2008 Four (4)-Year Study Programme 12 semester 2005/2006 2006/2007     Students are requested to choose their option using the form attached and to return the completed forms (2 copies) to their respective Dean’s/Director’s Office not later than 2 weeks after their examination results has been posted in the UMISISWEB (Student Portal).   Please take note that the option made is final and cannot be changed.   In the event your Dean/Director did not receive any feedback from you, you shall be assumed to opt for graduation this year (2010).   Please click here for notice     Examinations Section University of Malaya 18.05.2010
